2007 – We defended a regional trucking company in a personal lawsuit arising from a multiple tractor-trailer accident in Mason County, West Virginia. More than a year after litigation had commenced, we were asked to take over the defense from another law firm. We retained an effective reconstruction expert, successfully challenged Plaintiffs’ medical evidence and used Plaintiffs’ own expert to eliminate several claims. We obtained an extremely favorable settlement prior to trial.
