  • Frost Brown Todd Charleston Member-in-Charge Carte Goodwin Reappointed to US-China Economic and Security Review Commission

Frost Brown Todd (FBT) Charleston Member-in-Charge Carte Goodwin has been reappointed by U.S. Senate Majority Leader Charles E. Schumer to the U.S.-China Economic and Security Review Commission. The Commission monitors, investigates and submits to Congress an annual report on the national security implications of the bilateral trade and economic relationship between the United States and the People’s Republic of China.

At FBT, Goodwin represents clients in a variety of areas, including commercial litigation, government relations, and commercial transactions. He also serves as the Vice Chair of FBT’s Appellate practice group and a principal of CivicPoint, FBT’s public affairs subsidiary.

Goodwin’s two-year term, his sixth consecutive term, will end on Dec. 31, 2023.
