The International Trade Certification Program (ITCP) comes to Northern Kentucky, June 12-14, 2018. The program is scheduled to run at the Sullivan University Center for Learning in Fort Mitchell by the World Trade Center Kentucky (WTCKY).
“The program equips business professionals with the most current information on international trade practices to help them effectively manage their companies’ trade operations,” says Frost Brown Todd (FBT) Member Joe Dehner, who chairs FBT’s firm’s International Services Practice Group and will be one of the ITCP course instructors.
The program is taught by experts in areas such as banking, tax, law, customs compliance, market intelligence, freight forwarding, international marketing and customs brokerage. Participants who successfully complete the online examination after attending the three-day course will earn a “Certificate of International Commerce Specialist,” as recognized by the National Customs Brokers and Freight Forwarder’s Association of America (NCBFAA).
ITCP, which is the first professional designation in the world created to prove an individual’s level of competency and experience in international trade, has a Kentucky and Southern Ohio alumni network of more than 400 graduates, representing over 200 companies and organizations.
