FBT helped to close the bond sale, which was conducted by Paine Webber. The bonds were issued as auction rate bonds, but Jewish Hospital entered into a fixed rate interest swap for the entire transaction, enabling it to lock in a 4.5% fixed rate on 30 year debt.
