FBT Gibbons Partner Mark Ross spoke with Law360 about joining the Business & Commercial Litigation practice group, in the Newport Beach office, after heading his own firm for the past two decades.
“I’ve been practicing on my own for 20-plus years and thought it would be nice to have a little change, have the support and the resources of a bigger firm,” Ross says. “I really liked the people, liked the office here in Newport Beach. I just had the feeling I’d have a lot of support, a lot of resources and a potential for advancement in my career.”
Ross adds that he believes the transition from his own practice to the FBT Gibbons team will be a seamless one.
“The cohesiveness between my trust and estate litigation practice and the trust and estate planning and administration practice in this office, I think that’s going to help the firm expand exponentially here in Newport Beach, Orange County,” he adds.
