Biography

Asia is an associate in Gibbons’s Real Property Group. She practices in the areas of land use, redevelopment, and transactional real estate.

Asia brings experience in land use, municipal, property tax, landlord/tenant, and Fair Housing Act matters. Previously, she also analyzed state and federal environmental laws and regulations and helped develop and implement policies and guidelines for environmental protection and conservation for the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection’s Legal and Regulatory Affairs Division. Just prior to joining Gibbons, Asia clerked for the Honorable Sheila A. Venable, Assignment Judge for the Essex County Superior Court of New Jersey.

Asia is the former President and a former school board member of the Newark Board of Education.
