Blake represents clients on matters involving closely-held business entities, including formations, acquisitions, and restructuring ownership and control. He routinely organizes limited liability companies, corporations and partnerships for a variety of business purposes, including preparation of buy-sell, employment, and non-competition agreements.
Blake’s practice also includes extensive work in real estate. Blake represents clients in purchasing, financing, developing, leasing and selling commercial and residential properties. His real estate practice involves all aspects of ownership and capital structures, including joint ventures relationships, preferred equity and mezzanine financing structures, and conventional and program financing.
Blake earned his law degree from Notre Dame Law School and his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, where he also played Division I football.
