Biography

Mr. Kelly has experience representing real estate developers and other corporations in the preparation and filing of development applications to local development boards throughout the State of New Jersey. These applications primarily involve the request for site plan approval and variances in connection with residential, retail, medical, industrial and mixed use projects. He also has experience performing due diligence on commercial real estate purchase and sale transactions, as well as commercial leases, and has drafted contracts and other related closing documents in connection with these transactions.

Mr. Kelly’s practice also includes the representation of redevelopers in connection with redevelopment projects throughout the State. He has experience advising clients on the redevelopment process, including the drafting and review of redevelopment agreements and redevelopment plans. Mr. Kelly additionally has experience drafting pleadings, discovery documents, and motions in real estate related litigation, as well as preparing submissions to appellate courts in New Jersey. Finally, he has also assisted with the preparation of applications for the purchase or transfer of plenary retail consumption liquor licenses in New Jersey, and has provided guidance on regulatory compliance and other types of liquor permits.
