Biography

Ms. Grierson handles a wide range of employment litigation and counseling matters for private companies, public entities, and higher education institutions. She defends employers in both federal and state court, and before administrative agencies, in cases involving alleged employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, breach of contract, and violations of wage and hour laws. Ms. Grierson also provides counseling on complex multi-jurisdictional workplace compliance issues and assists employers with drafting employee handbooks, employment agreements, and training materials. Additionally, Ms. Grierson’s practice includes assisting employers in conducting workplace investigations and cultural assessments.

Prior to joining Gibbons, Ms. Grierson served as law clerk to the Honorable Elizabeth A. Stafford in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan. Prior to this clerkship position, Ms. Grierson was an attorney advisor at the United States Department of Justice through the Attorney General’s Honors Program.
