Biography

Mr. Settembrino has extensive experience in a wide variety of labor and employment matters. He represents clients in disputes concerning such issues as discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and breach of contract. He has experience litigating workplace investigations, advising on labor and employment aspects of M&A and other corporate transactions, and providing advice and counsel to employers regarding compliance with Title VII and other federal and state laws. Mr. Settembrino also regularly handles matters before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, New York City Commission on Human Rights, New York State Division of Human Rights, and National Labor Relations Board. He also represents employers in Fair Labor Standard Act wage and hour collective actions. In addition, Mr. Settembrino advises employers on practices and procedures, assists with drafting employee policies and handbooks, and assists with preparing employment and separation agreements.
