Jason enjoys analyzing and providing guidance to his clients on multiple corporate, strategic, regulatory compliance, and data-related matters, with a specific focus and wealth of knowledge and experience in the tech sector and the emerging technology and innovation spaces. He has built a strong network in the tech sector, both in the Pittsburgh area and nationally, which enables him to connect many individuals and businesses with an emphasis on growth and relationship building for his clients. Through this work, he consults with clients on daily business and various legal matters as an advisor, including corporate governance and compliance, data privacy and security, and helping to negotiate and document investments and capital raises of various types and drafting various business contracts/commercial agreements, purchase and sale agreements, vendor agreements, and related documentation.
Jason’s clients can rest assured that they will receive complex and comprehensive legal services, with a particular emphasis on asset and intellectual property protection in support of development and growth for clients across industries. He also has extensive experience in representing clients in commercial bankruptcy matters and assisting lenders in loan due diligence, documentation, and facilitation, including distressed asset funding and subsequent workout and debt collection involving both real estate and asset-based lending, including commercial/industrial and multi-participant/syndicated lending deals.
Additionally, Jason regularly assists clients in forming nonprofit organizations, helping them to obtain tax-exempt status, and counseling them on corporate governance and compliance, commercial, and transactional matters.
