Jason focuses his practice in the areas of M&A and Finance with a particular emphasis on advising privately held clients in the middle market and in significant transactions involving private equity. He has significant experience in the emerging tech and innovation sector but represents middle market clients in various verticals, as he has a strong network that enables him to connect many individuals and businesses with an emphasis on growth and relationship building to support the development of his clients. In addition to major transactions and deal work, Jason consults with clients on daily business and various legal matters as an advisor, including corporate governance and compliance, helping to negotiate and document investments and capital raises of various types and drafting business contracts/commercial agreements, vendor agreements, and related documentation.
Jason has nearly two decades of experience acting as a trusted advisor to help maximize enterprise value for clients through their general corporate and financial hygiene, growth and development, and protection of proprietary information and materials in support of their growth and development across industries. He also has extensive experience in representing creditors and debtors in commercial bankruptcy matters and assisting lenders in loan due diligence, documentation, and facilitation, including distressed asset funding and subsequent workout and debt collection involving both real estate and asset-based lending, including commercial/industrial and multi-participant/syndicated lending deals.
