Joshua focuses his practice on business combinations, corporate governance, and capital transaction matters in the fintech and blockchain spaces. He advises clients on corporate formation strategies, the transactional issues associated with tech-sector sales and acquisitions, securities compliance requirements, and day-to-day corporate contract negotiations. He has experience in the blockchain, fintech, private equity, music, and healthcare industries.
Joshua is an active member of the Nashville Bar Association’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee and dedicates his pro-bono practice to animal welfare and LGBTQ+ rights causes.
Raised overseas and originally from Washington, D.C., Joshua graduated from the University of Alabama School of Law as a Hugo L. Black scholar in 2018, earning Order of the Coif honors. While in law school, Joshua served as a senior editor on the Alabama Law Review, practiced with the school’s mediation clinic, and worked for a federal judge in the Northern District of Alabama. Before law school, Joshua earned his Bachelor’s in History and Philosophy at the University of Alabama, where he wrote an honors thesis on early civil rights issues.
