Biography

Kacy helps developers, investors and property owners go from funding to final inspection by assisting with acquisition and leasing transactions, property management relationships, and land use and zoning matters. She further counsels her real estate clients in their ongoing operations, assisting with both transactional and litigation matters.

Kacy also regularly represents corporate clients, focusing on the electronic payments industry, with such matters as early stage capital formation, mergers and acquisitions, and exempt securities offerings. She further helps payments clients negotiate service agreements with their processing partners and establish company policies and customer agreements.

Originally from Florida, Kacy is licensed in both Tennessee and Florida. She earned her law degree from Vanderbilt University Law School and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida with a B.S. in business administration. She is an active member of Urban Land Institute (ULI) Nashville and currently serves on the Young Leaders Pop Up Tours Committee and the Womenโ€™s Leadership Initiative Studio After Dark Committee.

HOAโ€™s co-counsel in connection with replacing its property manager.

Issuerโ€™s co-counsel in the formation of multiple qualified opportunity funds ranging in size from $1 million to $25 million, including the establishment of affiliated qualified opportunity zone businesses.
