Biography

Kevin focuses his practice on real estate and corporate transactions. His real estate experience includes the representation of lenders, investors, and developers in structuring and closing new construction and rehabilitation projects, including state and federal low-income housing tax credits, historic rehabilitation tax credits, new markets tax credits and multiple layers of financing. Kevin has been involved in handling title, survey, and zoning matters for a broad array of commercial assets, including multi-family properties, shopping centers, hotels, offices, and self-storage facilities. His corporate experience includes venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, and general contracting and corporate governance matters.

Kevin is a graduate of Xavier University and the University of Cincinnati College of Law. Kevin played Division 1 basketball for Xavier’s men’s basketball team which advanced to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament during his playing career. Prior to law school, Kevin completed internships with a products liability law firm in Cincinnati and the Cincinnati Bar Association through the Summer Work Experience in Law (SWEL) program, where he served in a leadership capacity. During law school, Kevin served as the president of the Black Law Students Association where he founded the Black Law Students Association/Hughes High School Initiative. Kevin was awarded the Shanda L. Spurlock Memorial Scholarship by the Black Lawyers Association of Cincinnati (BLAC). Kevin is proficient in Ga, a language native to Ghana. Currently, Kevin serves as a board member of the Friars Club Program, a 159-year old non-profit social service organization serving Cincinnati’s at-risk children through organized sports, education, nutrition, and fitness.
