Biography

Mike has extensive experience specific to legislation, regulations, and court decisions being made in Trenton and Washington, DC. He previously served as Chief of Staff to the New Jersey General Assembly Deputy Majority Leader and as the Government Affairs Director for one of New Jersey’s largest trade associations. A former Public Policy Specialist at Gibbons, Mike rejoined the firm as an associate in the Government & Regulatory Affairs Group after serving as a law clerk to the Honorable Douglas M. Fasciale, Superior Court of New Jersey, Appellate Division. Gibbons subsequently elevated Mike to a Directorship and later named him Administrative Director of the Trenton Office, where attorneys from the firm’s Government & Regulatory Affairs and Real Property Groups are located. Mike’s focus areas include legislative and regulatory counseling, administrative law, and commercial litigation. He represents a broad swath of entities, including major international businesses, institutions of higher education, public and private sector entities, and nonprofit organizations, before all three branches of government at the state and federal levels. Mike has developed a significant practice representing clients in regulatory proceedings, as these occur at the intersection where policy and litigation meet.

A graduate of Drew University (B.A.), the University of Pennsylvania (MPA), and Seton Hall University School of Law (J.D.), Mike has been recognized as a go-to attorney for complex matters. His analysis has appeared in numerous publications, including Law360, New Jersey Law Journal, NJ.com, and Commerce.
