Mr. O’Leary joins the firm upon completion of his clerkship to the Honorable Walter F. Timpone, Associate Justice (retired) of the Supreme Court of New Jersey. He also served as law clerk to the Honorable Regina Caulfield, P.J.Cr., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Law Division, Criminal. Before his clerkship to Justice Timpone, Mr. O’Leary was an associate at an Am Law 200 firm. He has experience researching and drafting legal memoranda on principles of suretyship, contractual indemnification, bankruptcy, and New Jersey and New York construction law, as well as federal and state procedural and evidentiary rules. He also has experience defending class action matters involving consumer fraud claims. Mr. O’Leary has represented surety companies, contractors, developers, and material suppliers in breach of contract disputes, surety bond claims, delay claims, consumer fraud cases, and bankruptcy matters.
