Neha is a member of the Health Care Innovation and the Data, Digital Asset & Technology groups at her firm. Her expertise focuses on health care legal matters, including regulatory compliance, transactional enterprises, corporate transactions, operational matters, fraud and abuse, and privacy. Her passion lies in the intersection of healthcare and technology. Neha leads Frost Brown Todd’s Emerging Healthcare Technologies working group. Her expertise in this space includes advising clients who specialize in remote patient monitoring, remote therapeutic monitoring, and telehealth services. She also counsels clients on the formation and operation of physician funds that invest in emerging healthcare IT. As part of her practice, Neha works with clients on Value-Based Care Payment models as well as advises on specialized corporate transactions in the health care space.
Prior to joining Frost Brown Todd, Neha served as General Counsel for The Health Collaborative, a regional health information exchange, which provides services to the health care community using electronic health information technology, data aggregation and data analysis to better understand and improve the provision of healthcare’s triple aim (improving patient experience, improving population health, and reducing cost). Neha has extensive experience in health care, data privacy and patient access laws, including compliance with HIPAA, the ONC Information Blocking Regulations, CMS Interoperability and Patient Access Rule, and Part 2 Regulations.
Prior to practicing corporate law, Neha worked as an insurance defense litigator where she was recognized as a Rising Star by Indiana Super Lawyers and Up & Coming Lawyer by the Indiana Business Journal. Neha is Chair of the Cincinnati Bar Association’s Health Law Committee, Advocacy Chair for the Ohio chapter of Central & Southern Health Information and Management System Society (COHIMSS), and serves on the advisory boards for Hoxworth Blood Center, University of Cincinnati’s Advancement & Transition Services programs, as well as the University of Cincinnati’s Timothy Freeman Center for Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
