Biography

Ray serves as the director of practice services for all litigation practice areas across the firm’s footprint. He has over 20 years of combined business leadership and legal experience in service industries, including nearly 10 years in practice group management. Ray supports the litigation department chairperson, all of the department’s practice group leaders, and senior leadership in areas including strategic planning, budgeting, financial analysis, resource planning and management, and performance management. Ray’s focus is to enhance practice services, practice economics, and client experiences. He is a former member of the firm’s Finance and Wellness Committees. Before joining FBT, Ray served in various leadership roles including vice president of business administration, where he managed business and operational functions including finance and accounting, IT, human resources, planning, and business analytics. Ray has also served as general counsel and outside counsel.
