Sam, a Cincinnati native, is an Associate in the Intellectual Property Practice Group. She practices in the areas of trademark, privacy, copyright, entertainment, and internet law. Sam began at FBT as a Summer Associate where she completed substantive work across a variety of practice areas and industries.
Prior to joining the firm, Sam was a Law Clerk with GE Aviation. There she worked in Military Systems Operations and analyzed government contracts and requests for proposals from foreign governments. She also conducted legal research, studied deal proposals, and took part in executive meetings.
While completing her J.D. at the University of Cincinnati College of Law, Sam participated in the Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic at UC law, helping local start-up businesses. In addition, she was the co-managing Editor of the Human Rights Quarterly and a blog editor for the University of Cincinnati Law Review. In her free time, Sam enjoys participating in local non-profits, including the Cincinnati Art Museum and Women Helping Women.
