Biography

Simon focuses on litigation matters, including prosecuting and defending restrictive covenant and trade secret issues, contractual disputes, business torts, and arbitration. He has represented clients in matters from the pleading stage up through trials and arbitrations, concentrating his practice on prosecuting or defending against claims involving restrictive covenants and trade secrets, breach of contract claims and business torts, and commercial lease disputes. Simon has experience in pre-litigation negotiations and mediations, drafting pleadings, conducting and responding to civil discovery, taking and defending depositions, and preparing for and representing clients at lengthy civil trials and arbitrations. He is also passionate about doing pro bono immigration work and mentoring.

Simon graduated from the Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in 2017, where he participated in the Children and Family Justice Center of the Bluhm Legal Clinic, helping clients petition for asylum. He received his B.A. from the University of Virginia where he was recognized as a Jefferson Scholar and an Echols Scholar.

Simon was a Summer Associate at Frost Brown Todd in Summer 2016. He worked as a part-time law clerk at Stowell & Friedman, Ltd., in Chicago, IL, a Plaintiff’s side employment civil rights firm, during his 3L year. Prior to law school, he was an associate consultant at Bain & Company, Inc. for two years in Boston, MA, where he conducted strategic due diligences, expert interviews, and advised private equity firms on potential acquisitions.

Simon was born in Minsk, Belarus, and immigrated to the St. Louis, Missouri in the early 1990’s. He has lived in Cincinnati full-time since 2017.
