Biography

While serving as a judicial clerk for the Honorable Anne M. Patterson at the Supreme Court of New Jersey, Mr. Coghlan researched and wrote bench memoranda, proposed dispositions on petitions for certification, and assisted in the writing of opinions. Prior to this role, he was an Associate at Simpson Thacher, where he wrote briefs to several U.S. Courts of Appeals and assisted in numerous internal investigations.
