Successful settlement of a series of cases claiming violations of prevailing wage statutes against union electrical contractors. Claimants were a trade group for non-union contractors which claimed that union contractors were not in full compliance with the prevailing wage reporting statutes that contained both administrative regulations as well as regulations governing the payment of prevailing wages. There were a series of cases involving several contractors all brought by the same trade group. Self-analysis of the claims demonstrated that there were primarily administrative glitches with few actual wage payment problems. Given the risk for the demand to pay attorneys fees, the claims were settled on favorable terms.
