Frost Brown Todd (FBT) partners Eric Lamb and Samantha M. Quimby have been recognized as World Trademark Review (WTR) 2025 Global Leaders, placing them among the “best of the best” in trademark law. The list, now in its seventh edition, “brings together the world’s foremost law firm and corporate trademark experts” according to market research conducted for the WTR 1000 and WTR 300 lists of top trademark professionals. This is Lamb’s fifth consecutive year being recognized and Quimby’s seventh consecutive year.
Earlier this year, FBT was nationally recognized as one of only 34 firms to be ranked in the 2025 WTR 1000 and had 10 attorneys named to the list—the eleventh year the firm has been included. Of those honored, only 14% go on to be named WTR Global Leaders. With each selected in their respective state, Lamb was one of just six to be recognized in Indiana while Quimby was one of just nine to be recognized in Ohio.
Lamb focuses on protecting, enforcing and defending intellectual property (IP) rights for publicly traded and privately held companies across industries, with a particular emphasis on manufacturing. Though based in the firm’s Indianapolis office, his practice is global. He frequently works with U.S.-based clients looking to safeguard their IP rights internationally and serves as U.S. trademark counsel for foreign companies. His experience encompasses all aspects of global branding strategy, international trademark portfolio management, clearance, application drafting, prosecution, due diligence, dispute resolution, coexistence agreements, cease and desist, litigation, opposition, and cancellation actions.
Quimby is an “a to z” brand lawyer, representing both domestic and global clients in a wide array of intellectual property matters relating to trademark, copyright, and unfair competition issues. Her practice has a particular emphasis on trademark prosecution, counseling, licensing, enforcement, and litigation. She works with clients on both domestic and international anti-counterfeiting efforts, as well as internet-related IP disputes involving domain names and misuse of copyrighted material. While Quimby represents clients in all industries, she has extensive experience working with brands in the lifestyle, sports and collegiate, and food and beverage industries.
Quimby and Lamb are both members of FBT’s Intellectual Property practice group. With over 60 professionals, this full-service group helps clients develop strategies for protecting and profiting from their valuable IP assets, including trademarks, copyrights, patents, and trade secrets. FBT’s nationally recognized trademark team works with clients at all stages of their trademark development, from initial inception through to launch and enforcement.
