Frost Brown Todd (FBT) Senior Associate Sloane O’Donnell was selected as a mentee for the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) Diversity Group Mentorship Program. To be selected, O’Donnell had to go through an intense application and interview process. The program provides young professionals in the bankruptcy and restructuring industry with professional development opportunities by connecting them with past ABI presidents.
“ABI is the premier membership organization for the bankruptcy, insolvency and restructuring industry, which makes this selection a great opportunity for Sloane,” said FBT Bankruptcy and Restructuring Practice Group Leader and ABI Vice President of Education Doug Lutz. “We are very proud of the work she has done and that it is being recognized by the ABI.”
ABI launched the mentoring program in 2021. The year-long program will hold bi-monthly meetings to discuss a variety of topics with members of ABI the reorganization community, including judges, trustees, attorneys and accountants. Throughout the program, O’Donnell will be provided with exclusive professional development opportunities with mentors, all of whom are prestigious members of the bankruptcy and restructuring professional community. She will also have networking opportunities with the other selected mentees from all over the country. The program will also provide O’Donnell with professional development and leadership opportunities generally through ABI’s national platform.
