Successfully appealed the denial of a building permit for a contract manufacturer of induatrial, institutional and consumer chemicals.  Said denial was based upon the state’s interpretation of the Kentucky Building Code that grouped all chemicals into a category identified as Highly Hazardous.  During the administrative hearing we persuaded the panel to adopt an interpretation that excluded the client’s manufactured products from the definition of Highly Hazardous.  As a result of the interpretation, the client was able to double the size of its manufacturing plant and added approximately 200 new jobs for northern Kentucky.
