Carol Smith has nearly 30 years of experience as a private practice attorney in West Virginia. She is a member of FBT’s Product Liability and Tort and Insurance Defense practice groups, and also regularly works on labor and employment matters. She has served on national trial counsel teams handling mass tort litigation throughout the country and represents clients across the state. She serves as a local and regional counsel for national corporations in a wide range of litigation cases. Jared Tully is a member of the firm’s Business Litigation practice group. He routinely represents financial institutions in litigation involving claims of predatory lending and violations of the West Virginia Consumer Credit Protection Act and the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Tully represents national banks in various types of litigation, including consumer and commercial disputes, and defends insurance companies against claims of bad faith. He regularly represents clients in high profile litigation.
