Frost Brown Todd (FBT) is pleased to announce the addition of member Tricia A. Leminger to the firm’s Indianapolis office and Government Services practice group. Leminger advises government entities, public safety officials, fire chiefs, police chiefs, businesses, political officials, boards and commissions on multiple aspects of local government and business matters. With a primary focus on governmental/municipal representation, she provides counsel in areas such as open door law, redevelopment and economic development, land use planning and annexation, consolidation, and labor and employment matters. She serves as attorney for governmental units, where she handles a range of day-to-day matters and counsels high-level elected and appointed officials.
Leminger also works with corporate clients on contract negotiations, commercial transactions, general corporate compliance, and director and shareholder matters. She is outside counsel for a not-for-profit corporation providing job training, employment services and various rehabilitation and outreach services for the blind and visually impaired. Working directly with the Chief Executive Officer, she coordinates legal strategy to fulfill the company’s mission.
As a member of FBT’s Government Services practice group, Leminger will be working with one of the premier public sector legal teams in the firm’s seven-state footprint. The group is comprised of approximately 50 legal professionals who provide services to some of the largest public entities in the region, including the City of Indianapolis and Marion County. Working closely with the firm’s subsidiary CivicPoint, they also help clients navigate the public affairs process and relationships with governmental bodies and elected officials across Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee.
Leminger earned her J.D. at the Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 1996 and her B.A. at Purdue University (1993). She was a member of the inaugural class of the Bar Leader Series of the Indianapolis Bar Association.
