Frost Brown Todd (FBT) announces the addition of Member James P. Catalano and Senior Associate Alexandria S. Fisher to the firm’s Nashville office.
Jim Catalano has been a litigator for nearly 20 years, representing individuals, municipalities and businesses, including Fortune 500 and multinational companies. He is a member of FBT’s Business Litigation Practice Group, where he handles a variety of business and commercial litigation and product liability cases. Catalano works extensively with clients in the construction, health care and transportation industries, counseling and defending them in matters before federal and state courts. He also advises on commercially sensitive matters, such as trade secrets and intellectual property. As a Rule 31-listed mediator, he represents his clients in various arbitration forums. Catalano is a board member of United Cerebral Palsy of Middle Tennessee, and serves on the board and as legal counsel for the Music City Chapter of March of Dimes, Tennessee.
Alexandria Fisher is a senior associate in FBT’s Regulated Business Practice Group and serves on the firm’s Health Care Service Team. Her law practice focuses on representing individual health care providers before regulatory boards, including the Board of Medical Examiners and the Board of Nursing. She is a faculty member of the Vanderbilt Center for Professional Health, where she teaches a continuing medical education (CME) course and assists in planning CME courses for nurse practitioners. Before entering private practice, Fisher served as a law clerk to the Honorable William J. Haynes, Jr., Chief Judge for the U.S. District Court, Middle District of Tennessee. While at Vanderbilt University Law School, where she earned her J.D. in 2012, she interned with both Mayor Karl Dean and the Metropolitan Nashville District Attorney’s Office.
