Amy represents both financial institutions and borrowers in connection with complex commercial real estate transactions including hotels, multifamily housing, offices, retail centers, medical offices, industrial properties, senior housing, nursing homes and assisted living facilities. She also represents developers and other real estate investors in connection with commercial real estate sales/acquisitions, financing, leasing matters, and real estate development.
Amy’s background also includes managing a team of attorneys, paralegals and legal staff responsible for closing CMBS loans for national lending clients. She has also represented commercial mortgage loan servicers and special servicers in connection with workouts and foreclosures related to CMBS loan defaults.
Finally, Amy has represented local units of government and nonprofit organizations in connection with obtaining both public and private funding for development projects, including infrastructure and affordable housing, and has experience representing both owners and local units of government with eminent domain and URA matters.
