Barry serves as the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group Leader, representing clients in various intellectual property (IP) areas including domestic and foreign patent prosecution, agreements, opinions, and disputes. His practice encompasses a broad range of technologies including mechanical, chemical, materials, among others. His practice involves many types of products including medical devices, electronic devices, industrial equipment and machinery, consumer products, among others. Barry is admitted to practice in Ohio and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
Prior to joining Frost Brown Todd, Barry worked for a Fortune 500 consumer product company, working in Research and Development and Product Supply. In his various roles, Barry worked to develop, commercialize, and optimize new products and materials both domestically and internationally. He has experience with market research, product claims substantiation, competitive advertising disputes, prototype development and manufacturing, commercial product launches, material optimization, and product supply and operational improvements.
