DJ is an associate focusing her practice on Commercial Mortgaged-Backed Securities (CMBS) lending and financing.
As a combat medic with the United States Army, DJ has extensive experience in the healthcare field. Thanks to her experience, DJ has a strong working knowledge regarding HIPPA, OSHA, Joint Commission, as well as familiarity with emergency medicine, women’s health, reproductive endocrinology, and neurosurgery.
While attending law school, DJ did a service project with the Veterans’ Unit of Legal Aid in Louisville. Her work at Legal Aid directly influenced her Note topic for the University of Louisville Law Review which was selected for publication and released Fall 2021.
Many of DJ’s undergraduate studies focused on international issues, specifically third wave democratization and Eurasian politics and American foreign policy toward Eurasia including the Magnitsky Act.
