CivicPoint, a subsidiary of Frost Brown Todd, has named Katie Eagan as a Principal, based in the Cincinnati office. Eagan’s extensive experience and leadership in the field of government affairs will play a pivotal role in furthering CivicPoint’s mission to drive positive change through strategic advocacy. Katie’s experience will enhance and complement the existing state government relations efforts of CivicPoint led by Columbus-based members Deb Hackathorn and Joe Ewig.

Most recently, she served as Vice President of Government Affairs at the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber, she was a key advisor to high-influence individuals and key stakeholders on sensitive political and policy matters. She also led the organization through strategic initiatives to amplify its mission and shape the region’s goals.

Eagan has led several statewide organizations in her 20-year career, these include Executive Director at the Ohio Republican Party where she became the second woman to lead the organization after spending three years as political director. She was also the Ohio State Director of Americans for Prosperity Foundation, expanding the institution’s grassroots activism and political influence in Ohio. Her vast knowledge of the political landscape along with her extensive network makes her an invaluable asset to the political landscape of Ohio.

A native of Cincinnati, she has her undergraduate degree and MPA in Public Policy and Administration from The Ohio State University. She volunteers for the Hamilton County Convention Facilities Authority and sits on the Board of Directors for the YMCA of Greater Cincinnati and SHELeads.
