Mike represents numerous public entities in matters ranging from traditional employment disputes to negotiating complex collective bargaining agreements. He also provides guidance to school boards regarding various areas of legal compliance and employment matters. Through his labor and employment work, Mike ensures that local governments and school boards are able to efficiently solve employment problems, which allows them to focus their efforts on their core duties and goals.
Mike has both first and second chair jury and bench trial experience. He has negotiated numerous settlement agreements between adverse parties and participated in the negotiation of various public sector collective bargaining agreements. His experience makes him a trusted and dependable adviser for his clients.
Mike’s passion for public service started when he had the distinct honor of serving his community as a firefighter and paramedic for nearly 14 years. Mike’s vast experience as a first responder provides unique insight into the needs of local communities and the way in which management of public services impacts the residents of those communities. Mike now calls upon his prior experiences, combined with his extensive legal knowledge, to ensure that his clients can successfully, and efficiently, strengthen the communities they serve.
