Based in the firm’s Washington D.C. office, he will also serve as a Partner with FBT’s litigation practice. Uttam brings more than 30 years of experience in legislative and regulatory oversight, government investigations, and white-collar defense. He has previously served in several high-profile positions, including Deputy White House Counsel and Deputy Assistant to the President, the Acting Administrator of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the Director of INTERPOL in Washington, D.C. He also worked as a commercial litigator for several national law firms.
